"I am Willy Williams and I am using my wife’s google account to write a review for Dr. Antigone Argyriou. I had an unsuccessful laminectomy abour three years ago from another doctor in Manhattann. That operation didn’t help my discomfort while standing or walking. During the past three years, I sought the opinion of a number of doctors and pain specialists, none of whom offered me any ideas for dealing with my discomfort. I consulted with Dr. Argyriou about five months ago. She suggested my getting a shot in my lower back. It didn’t work, and the she suggested that I was a good candidate for a procedure called intracept. That was about two months ago, and I have noticed a big difference. I am grateful to her for the excellent results and for her intelligence, her ability to listen and explain, and for her empathy and overall kindness"

"If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. Dr. Choi was highly recommended by an amazing pain specialist. After waiting for a month and half for a consultation, the initial visit from arriving until the actual consultation was horrible. I had to wait over an 1 hour just to sit in an exam room, then I saw a nurse assistant, then a physician assistant then finally I was able to see Dr. Choi, for about maybe 15 minutes, he said I needed a more extensive surgery. Skip to the 2nd visit, today, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to see Dr.Choi. I finally had to wait by the exam room door so that Dr. Choi could remember and acknowledge that I am not just patient but a human being. When he arrived he apologized for the wait time he basically said "I should be grateful that it was only an hour and 15 minutes wait time and and good specialist always has patients fully booked in the waiting room and and has a minimum of an hour wait time, if a doctor isn't fully booked, then that says something about the doctor and the practice." I said he's running his practice like a factory and over booking patients. He said he "only sees patients 2x a week the rest of the time he's performing surgeries and surgeries are the most lucrative part of his practice so he doesn't have time" after that we decided to part ways. Horrible and disgusting experience since the initial consultation. I should have seen the red flags on the first appointment."

Anyone who has dealt with this pain will understand, i was in so much pain dealing with compressed nerve in my L5 i tried different doctors, but no one really appreciated the pain i was in. I was close to giving up, and going for full disability I made an appointment, and they took me in the very next day. Dr. Tooms she fought on my behalf with my insurance company and didn't give up for a second and won. She performed surgery on me on march 8th in Saint Francis Hospital, the best hospital i have ever been in, she saved my life!
