"This Doctor saved my life from covid. She's far from being all about the money. When I was at my worst she gave me her cellphone number and had me to text her every 4 hrs and said if I didn't she was going to send the police to my house for a well check. Never mind If I called her office no matter how busy she was she would find time to see me. Also all during that time she was telling, no begging me to go to hospital but I wouldn't at first because I didn't believe l would make it out alive. But thanks to her and Stony brook hospital. Im alive today. I have to go in for a Medical procedures and she told me if I have nobody to watch my dog she would have her kids watch my dog. How many doctors would do that for you. This woman has a big heart and great staff and shame on anybody who says she's in it for the money. By the way Ford Shelby is a great car too. : )"

"My parents love her and see her quite often for various health issues. Listens and hears what they both tell her. Always has a lot of possible solutions to their problems. Mom loves Christina from front desk, very sweet and through. If I didn’t live 45 min away I’d go to her for my primary also."

"Worst primary care Dr ever. Felt like She have double standard for her patients. With an appointment have to wait 3to 4 hours to see her and she is always in hurry no time to acknowledge patients concerns. Her energy is so low I feel like she need to see Dr first for her self. She is more money hungry then patients care. If you are brown person stay away from her even though she is brown."

"Was a patient of Dr Shilpee’s for about 3 years. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a GP. She overbooks her appointments which accounts for the long wait in office. Worse than than that, she is a poor listener and doesn’t adequately address the patient’s concerns. She runs from one exam to the other and doesn’t allot the proper time for her patient. I finally found a much better doctor after an incident where she ignored a test result that she prescribed for me that indicated a serious health problem. Stayed with her for too long. That’s on me"

"1 of my best friends has been going to Dr. Shilpee for yrs and always told me how great she was. When I finally decided it was time to get a GP for myself I scheduled an appt and they took me right away. That was couple years ago n I won’t go anywhere else now. Yes, sometimes u have to wait a while even though u had an appt, but this is because she prob gives all her patients enough face time, thoroughly evaluates you and genuinely cares about anything that could be wrong w you. She takes same day appts and THAT is hard to find too. The office is def no frills...no nice ambiance in there and just an old house that was converted to an office on 112, but I don’t go there for the looks of the place. I go for the service. Her nurses have all been great. Always very nice even though some are very quiet. Christina at the front desk who makes all the appts and is prob the office Mgr def “seems” unfriendly and very stern looking, but it’s just her face. She doesn’t give u the warm n fuzzy feeling when u talk to her or go in there, but she really does go above and beyond to get you in ASAP n very flexible w appts too. That’s the most important thing. Dr. Shilpee is sweet and very knowledgeable. I’ve since referred my mom there who agrees with everything I explained here n made her her GP as well. Today I got my boyfriend a 1st time appt so he can get his Covid test needed for travel n once again she scheduled him immediately. Def appreciate it and really appreciate Dr Shilpee!"
