"I saw Dr. O`Donnell in 2019 for a very minor ear issue (wax buildup) and I was struck by his professionalism, knowledge, and manners. It seems that these things are lacking in the world of medical professionals these days for some reason. At that time I went to the Patchogue office which was smaller, but everyone was nice, professional, and helpful. The other day I made an appointment and went into the Islandia office, which seems huge. The office staff was helpful in getting me checked in and setup. The Audiologist was very professional and prompt. Then I went in and waited for Dr. O`Donnell for a few minutes. We went over my issue and he took the time to sit down with me and explain things thoroughly and he answered all of my questions. He even saw that I had some wax in one of my ears and cleared that out quickly. One thing that Dr. O`Donnell did that I've never seen before is that he "takes notes" verbally on a microphone device. I guess it is a talk-to-text software or whatever. Anyway, when I saw/heard that it showed me, on top of everything else, how organized he is and how serious he is about his practice. I highly recommend Dr. O`Donnell. Both locations (Patchogue and Islandia) are great."

"Dr. O’Donnell or as I call him Dr. Tom is the most amazing doctor ever. I am 13 years old and he has been my doctor for over 9 years. He’s been so helpful and kind and when I was younger and I just found out I would need another ear surgery he would always make me feel better. I’ve had 7 ear surgery 6 of them done my himself so in 6th grade I was heartbroken when he recommended I have a surgery done by another surgeon who specialized in cases like mine. That doctor turned out to be amazing and I couldn’t be more thankful because he was the guy that fixed my ear problem for what I thought was the end of it. But earlier this school year I found out that my adenoids that were taken out when I was 4 grew back and that I needed tubes again which is what caused me to have to have 2 surgery’s to fix the rupture that it left behind and I was devistated. My friends and family told my family that we should go see another surgeon to get a second opinion becuse “well your other surgery’s didn’t work so what makes you think this one won’t”. Even thought we didn’t want to see another doctor we did to make our family happy and it turned out that the guy said to my mom that I was faking the whole thing. So long story short Dr. Tom O’Donnell is amazing"

"This guy is a freaking joke. As a new customer who has serious concerns for cancer, apparently I didn't show up within his comfort zone timeframe to have my paperwork filled out and meet with him without screwing up his schedule. I was extremely sick the day that I showed up for my emergency appointment and this gentleman at the driving 30 minutes to the office told me to reschedule. It takes less than five minutes on those iPads they give you to fill out your personal information and his impatience was beyond unprofessional. Luckily through the same practice I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Vijay Mhukhaji and was beyond pleased with my visit with him. Although I had to drive another 20 minutes further down the highway. It was worth it to see Vijay. Apparently for Dr. O'Donnell getting home on time is a prerequisite in his career. You can guarantee I'm going to every website and leaving this guy a bad review all across the board."
