"I’ve been a patient here for over ten years. I really like the Doctor, however the entire process for reaching anyone after your appointment is severely broken. When you call you’ll be hearing a message that’s way too long and it also mentions that you can book an appointment on their website which is entirely false. Recently I was needing a refill for a prescription which I would need to take on a specific date. I would need to take it on a Tuesday, so I called the previous Tuesday to ensure I’d have it for that time. I spoke with the office manager and she said she’d pass the request to the doctors. I then called back the next day and spoke to a gentleman that informed me there was no message sent and that he’d send the message which he informed me goes to all the doctors. I then call back the next day and someone else tells me that I would need to come in to be seen. If I didn’t call back I would never have received the prescription in time to take my medication since the pharmacy needs to also order it. This back and forth happens every single time. The amount of time you’ll spend getting results, refilling a prescription, contacting anyone is really unnecessary and appalling. I’ve mentioned this to staff over the years and There’s been no improvement whatsoever. My wife is taking a similar medication and she already reached the point of aggravation with this place and recently switched her care to another provider which is like night and day. When she needs a refill and they message the doctor she gets a text back within two hours and then texts back with the necessary information the doctor requests and the prescription is done. Furthermore this is done without an additional cost. The response I get from this now “ walk in clinic” First choice is “ we were very busy yesterday so we couldn’t get back to you”. News flash, everyone’s busy, figure it out. You’re a business. There’s many choices of medical professionals that run a smooth ship. Why would anyone want to deal with nonsense when it comes to their healthcare? Hopefully, this review will help them see what the patients see. I’ll repost if they actually care and call me back because lord knows you can’t reach them. My name is above and you have my phone number."

"Had to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance and they proceeded to charge me $325. Now they are threatening collection action. They'll get zero cents from me and should do so. This office needs to reevaluate their policies regarding cancellation. That number is absurd."

"I came to this physician seeing all good reviews for my health check up. They send me to Quest for testing. Inspite of having Aetna insurance, quest send me bill of $1800. When I called doctors office, they say they are struggling getting in touch with quest representative and they didn’t resolved the issue. I send multiple emails to 1st choice and Kristine Knapp but they don’t intend to do anything. Now it has went to Collection agency and I will have to pay $1800 in spite of having insurance. This is the worst doctors office I have been to who don’t care for patients. I have even not paid so much money ($1800 ) even when I was in hospital for 3 days for delivering baby. Never ever go to this office. See snapshot of our conversation for clarity. If I was alllowed to give -3 rating , I would have given that seeing bad experience I had."
