"Dr Da Silva is an excellent surgeon. In 2014 I had to have to have my hand operated on due to a dog bite. He did a outstanding job!! The hospital PA said if there was a night to have this happen then you have the best on call doctor to handle it. He was right. Dr Da Silva performed a 5 hour surgery to repair my hand and that also required a skin graft. Not only does my hand work perfectly, but you can't even tell my hand was operated on. I have full use of my fingers as a result. Thank you so much Dr Da Silva!!"

"I was in dire need of care today ... Although Dr Da Silva was in surgery, he made time for my seriousd dog bite laceration on my upper lip..I have nothing to say but good! He was kindly and knew I suffer with Tourettes Syndrome but was not surly about my movements, just continued to soothe me with meditative soothing talk during the entire procedure. "Have had NUMEROUS back surgeries(total major surgeries - 5 but that’s not including a whole bunch of other procedures I’ve had) since I was 14 years old (I am now 26) - I had my most recent lumbar spinal fusion on October 11th, 2018 & although I’m still healing , and yes it is a pretty long scar but I’m pretty satisfied at how it looks so far & couldnt imagine what it would look like had he not been there . Granted the scar I had prior was pretty large as well but the scar prior to this surgery was more wide , this scar is much thinner . He worked hand in hand with my neurosurgeon (Dr.Pulumbo) which I also HIGHLY recommend , for I believe around 3 hours taking out old scar tissue etc . Yes when I had first woken up after surgery I was in a tremendous amount of pain , as expected , but I’m praying it was all worth it. We shall see but from when I first met Dr.Da Silva in the hospital I knew I’d be in good hands with these two doctors . Looking forward to meeting him again actually monday (in 2 days) and getting more details of my surgery and opinion of how he thinks my incision is healing :) (p.s just want to clarify my neurosurgeon still did one heck of a job and tried his very best as well with my previous surgeries to try and make the incision not so big etc being I was so young etc but technology & insurance companies have changed drastically over the past 12 years."
