"Always extremely helpful and on top of things I need to do to be healthy Dr Chawla is A+ doctor. Sad to need to transfer from Riverhead but definately maintaining doctor ."
"My first visit waited in the waiting room 10 minutes, no one else in the room. Was called in to the exam room, and could hear the Dr. on the phone in the next room talking to his bank or financial advisor. 15 minutes go by, no Dr., 30 minutes still no Dr., still hear him talking on the phone, 45 minutes, no Dr. an hour and half waiting in the exam, still no Dr.! But he's still on the phone. At that point I left the exam room and went to the front desk and told them I was leaving, and that how unprofessional it was to leave me waiting an hour and a half while he's on the phone They said oh, he will see you now, I said no way, I'm never coming back. A couple of years later I had to take my 89 yr old mother to the same Dr., waited a short time in the waiting room, we were brought in to the exam room and waited 45 minutes for the Dr to come in. On her second visit, the same thing. On our last visit, she had a 1:30pm appt, we got there at 1:20pm, we waited in the waiting room, as the minutes passed, we waited, and waited, and waited! One hour past her appt, and at 2:30pm we had enough and I told the receptionist that we were leaving, and explained that as a common courtesy, it would have been appropriate to let the patients know that the Dr. is running late, or maybe a phone call telling us to come later, she said oh, he will see you now, we are getting the exam room ready. I said why so we could sit in the exam room for another hour like usual. We left. If you like to wait, go see this Dr. My time is just as valuable as his, obviously this practice doesn't get that! I'm trying to convince my Mom to see another Dr. He may be a good Dr. but to expect patients to endure hours of waiting is totally unacceptable."
"I waiting 2 and half hours to see the doctor even though I had an appointment. Wait is to long."

"went to see the doctor today waited for an hr. Went in to see him when he came in he had a trainee with him, then he asked what was wrong. I told him then told the trainee to get started after i told him what was wrong i felt this person did not know what he was doing, he could not even take my bp right oh by the way the doctor left the room then when isaw the doctor again in his office they were talking about another patient directly in front of me. its sad to see how things have changed in that office."
