"Excellent doctor (Surgrue). Be prepared to wait beyond your scheduled appointment time, because he runs over when he feels the patient needs it. But, honestly, his level of patient care, his level of skill, and his level of communication is exceptional, so I would recommend him to anyone!"
"I had an amazing experience with Dr. Litman. I fully recommend him. He is amazing on what he does. I can't thank him enough for taking good care of my daughter!. Thank you for your caring and professionalism!!"
"I sat in waiting room from 1010am for a 1020 appt 1130 brought in to a exam room. 1151 doc just came in. Annoyed beyond patience. Staff is nice."
"Appointment was rushed and None of my concerns were addressed or, quite honestly, even acknowledged. If anything, I felt dismissed and ignored before I could even get to my reason for being there. I had so many questions about my recent diagnoses and was hoping to be able to finally get started on either getting a surgical team in place or treatment for a possible separate condition but before I could even finish a sentence, the doctor would talk about a totally unrelated medical condition that I was already treated for by my pcp. I walked in with questions and left with the exact same knowledge (or lack thereof) with which I walked in. I’m also quite confused about why my trachea was squeezed tight enough to leave a mark (!) as part of the visit, as I wasn’t there for a throat issue and was kind of traumatized by it for a good half hour afterwards. Some time has since passed and I’m still kind of shook! FWIW, I should have known better as soon as they handed me a mask to wear (I cannot wear the common/generic masks due to severe rosacea and allergies to textiles and would have gladly used my own if they had mentioned this fact prior to my visit) despite me sitting in a full waiting room of people not wearing masks before being brought to a room. I have to wonder how that makes sense and what type of protection it’s offering and to whom. I actually sat in my car and cried before I could even drive home because of how badly the appointment went And Now I have to find a new doctor and wait another month or more to, hopefully, get my answers or at least be treated like I’m not stupid and an inconvenience..because that’s exactly how I felt."
"Had a hearing test on 12/28/23, got my results and needed a hearing aid. Scheduled an appointment for 1/18/24 at 3:20 in the afternoon so as not to have to miss work. When I arrived at the office I was told the appointment was canceled and a message was left on the home phone. I would have thought that since the cancellation came on the day of the appointment they would have made every effort to connect with me and save me the trip to Port Jeff. Nope, they didn’t think they needed to connect via cell phone. Of course they asked if I would like a new appointment and I stated that I would like one for the same time of day as the original and they scheduled me for 2/29/24 at 3:20. Today I received a voice message informing me that my upcoming appointment is canceled and I would need to reschedule yet again. To say I was frustrated would be a grand understatement. Of course when you call the “office” you get outsourced to a call center. I expressed my frustration with this individual, was put on hold for ten minutes and eventually got someone in the office whose only concern was booking a new appointment and telling me “I understand you are frustrated.” At that point I was told the doctor/audiologist would speak to me but I stated I would be writing a review and following up with the office manager. I received a call back from a Dr. Savino in the office, and again I expressed my frustration about being canceled on more than once. Her response to this was that “life happens” and the best she could do was have one of her colleagues cover for her. After that phone call I thought about her “life happens” attitude for canceling appointments and approach to handling patient frustration, and it isn’t for me. I’m done with the audio side of this office."
