"Would not step foot in this ER ever again even if I was dying. Absolutely most degrading, embarrassing horrific experience of my life. Was in excruciating pain for hours with little to no care from the staff. Everyone just passed responsibilities off to another staff member, no communication between staff. The lack of care here is embarrassing."
"I know fast track is for less serious problems, but the patients there really need to be symptom checked better. I had uti with severe urinary retention, could not urinate and was vomiting took 2 hours to see doc wh discharged me with antibiotics sent me on my way. An hour later I was shaking called ambulance and ended up in St. CHARLES icu for 5 days hypokalemia due to urinary retention and severe infection. Very thorough. Happy to be alive Mather needs to tweak fast track system"
"All the treatment I was supposed to get, I didn't. Patients with relatively "easy" issues should be treated & discharged quicker. And there's no reason to "fish" to blood draw or iv port. My arm still hurts."
"In TEN HOURS of being there, they failed to both diagnose my problem or alleviate my pain in the slightest. It took them ten hours to tell me to go see an ENT and in the meantime I felt ignored and disregarded. My 2nd nurse (Maria?) had all the bedside manner and charm of a penn station ticket vendor. The first nurse was lovely. (Spota?)"
"It's small and if you don't come by ambulance then I don't know what the wait is. I was never told what was wrong with me. I was laying in the ER for 27hrs, because they didn't want to admit me. Only if you have a blood clot or something worse will you get admitted. Finally, they put me in observation, pictured, very secluded and quiet, then at 6am the next day I was transported to a rehab facility."
