Dr. Thomas E. McBrearty, a proud alumnus of Cornell University and the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel, joined North Suffolk Cardiology in 1995. With extensive training completed at Stony Brook University Hospital, Dr. McBrearty is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. His expertise focuses on nuclear cardiology, echocardiology, and transesophageal echocardiography.

As the Director of our certified echocardiography laboratory, Dr. McBrearty ensures that our patients receive top-tier diagnostic and therapeutic services. Additionally, he contributes to the academic community as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Cardiology at Stony Brook University Hospital.
