"I saw Dr George this week after hurting my neck and back a month ago. I have been in physical therapy for a few weeks. I had to leave work early to see him, waited about an hour and a half. He took x-rays, examined me quickly and ordered an MRI. I can’t afford to go out of work on disability and told him I was in severe pain most of the time. By the afternoon, I’m limping and have a hard time getting to a standing position. I can not sleep or do anything physical. I have had to cancel my weekend plans every weekend due to my pain. I told him all of the above, he just looked at me, not a word was said. I’m not sure if he wasn’t listening to me, didn’t believe me or just didn’t care. He ended up ordering an MRI. He didn’t say come back after the MRI, and maybe I can help you. He didn’t say anything about my pain at all, except, “you are already in PT.” Obviously, physical therapy isn’t working, that’s why I made an appointment with a pain management physician. I was not looking for medication, but I was hoping for some relief in the near future. I have a hard time believing that physical therapy was my only option for treatment. Trigger point injections may have helped. After the appointment, a staff member said I would hear from them towards the end of the week about the authorization for the MRI. I don’t need authorization from my insurance company but the office staff didn’t know that. How do they not know that? Yesterday, I was in work limping around in the same terrible pain. So glad I waited two weeks for an appointment to see Dr George. It was a waste of time and money, except for him. He will be paid for a new patient visit and three x-rays!!"

"I have been a patient of Dr George for many years. I am a retired disabled veteran who has multiple long-term chronic pain issues. I am very leary of going to Doctors, unless I am really suffering. Dr George has been more than a outstanding physician, he also has an amazing capacity for listening to his patients! If anyone were to ask me for a recommendation, especially if they were not eager to go to a Dr in general, I would Not hesitate to give 5 stars to Dr George!"
