"I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Dr. Michael. He was cold , crass and extremely unprofessional . Frankly , he gave me the impression that he was quite bothered with my being there . Odd for someone meeting a brand new patient, but I digress . Prior to bringing my money and time to any business , aside from personally choosing a physician, I do my due diligence as to avoid any misunderstandings or leave room for any errors . Coverage was confirmed by both my insurance company and Marie , his receptionist, prior to my arrival . I check in , my blood is drawn by a Mary , who was sweet as pie , but had severe trembles which made for a bit of an uncomfortable process as one is getting blood drawn . I had to physically hold down the needle as we spoke because she tugged on it several times in the midst of our Conversation unknowingly . Ouch . Bless her heart . It may be time for both Dr . Michael and Mary to retire . As I initially checked in , I had seen Dr . Michael pacing back and forth throughout the office while I settled in and again while getting blood drawn . I was the only patient in the office so his back and forth made me feel uneasy for some reason . Eerie almost . After bloodwork , he walks in , says hello , no smile , no warm welcome, no personality and immediately dives into wether or not this appointment would be covered . He leads with “ I have been burned in the past “ (which seems evident as this is how he led the initial greet) , and goes on about how insurance companies have burned him in the past regarding payment, apparently .” This visit may not be covered” , “ I would possibly be paying for this visit out of pocket” . He seemed angry and triggered , which made for an extremely awkward interaction. I informed Dr. Michael that I had new insurance with my current employer and coverage along with this visit was confirmed prior to my arrival but that did not satisfy him . He was adamant about it not being covered which by that point I had felt completely uncomfortable in the room with him and I expressed that to him . We go back and forth about why he was under that impression and why he thought this visit would not be covered and with out knowing for sure , it seemed as though he already had his mind made up . It was time for me to go . We did not move forward , I was charged 15$ dollars for the tubing , they kept my blood and records of my confidential information . I felt violated then dismissed . There was no consideration of my time or well being by that man . Needless to say , I would never go back into that establishment after how he treated me and upon leaving and losing more time having to call the insurance again to confirm, the appointment ,as mentioned, would of been covered and paid to him in full ! "good doctor but the service of the secretary is terrible, is not professional speaks with attitude is inhuman. I went to visit the doctor in an emergency I left my wallet at home because I left work. The secretary did not want to give me my prescription or my excuse for the work for the simple fact that I did not have my card to pay the balance. she wanted to keep my license and my insurance card."
