"I’m not sure what happened recently, but SM emergency room did a 180. Wait time was short, the waiting area was clean and comfortable, the email/notifications were helpful. Everybody was so kind and incredible (shoutout to Nurse Kyle and PA Kaitlyn). Thank you for taking such great care of me."
"My first time coming to this ER and was bless with Nurse Isabella in the emergency room was the best. I came in with a sore throat and fever. She is very attentive, patient and listens. She had me in and out in less than 2 hours. The rest of the staff is also very friendly. A good experience overall would definitely come back."
"If I could give them NO STARS a thousand times I would. I just came from this hospital and originally upon entering the service was AMAZING. The girl at front desk next to the front door was amazing and helpful. The medical assistant who took my daughter’s temp and weight (Asian decent) was VERY HELPFUL & very patient and sweet. My issue is with nurse in charge REGGIE. I went to ask a question and she cut me off very abruptly before answering my question to let me know she was busy and I need to sit down . I have proof of this incident. After her being a nasty I asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me. She turned her badge around as she stood behind the desk then walked away as I persisted for her name. As she walked away I had time speak with other staff at the front desk and they were the ones that gave me her name and the correct spelling . I let her know I would be reporting her she then picked up the phone to call security on me . Upon leaving the bundling I do not have discharge papers nor any paper to detail my visit with my sick child today . I will be reaching out to AOD ( administration on duty ) as well as making a report with the supervisor of nurses AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. She did not show integrity nor did she has compassion or empathy when dealing with patients today. She seems to be very nasty when having to work under pressure which goes to show me this is not her field of profession. This hospital needs to take into serious consideration keeping her in their team. I definitely will NOT be coming back and I will not refer anyone who has serious issues and needs immediate attention and care to come to this hospital while she is in duty. I was there at 9am until 10:40 am and have yet to see a doctor ( which is done because emergencies happen ) however how I was dealt with by this nurse is completely unacceptable and needs attention immediately. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE."
"Took my wife in for an emergency at 1pm. She is now just getting discharged around 6pm. They told me because of “Covid” I had to wait outside. (Not even in the empty waiting room) Being in the parking lot in my car for 5 hours is ridiculous. I hope no one ever goes here for an actual emergency. I would have rather driven to a better hospital to save me the time I spent in the car. Plus they were rude."
