"I went there from a referral from school Hudson county community college I went there to tell them I was depressed Suicidal thoughts, anger, Issues. The lady that prescribes the medicine when I told her I want to kill myself she said guns are everywhere so why don’t you kill yourself? She told me to kill myself. I still can’t Get over when she said that. I went to Bridgeway to get help from my suicidal thoughts, but the lady that prescribes the medicine she told me to kill myself. The receptionist that picked up the phone was very rude and didn’t know what she was doing If my prescriber was working tomorrow, she didn’t know what time and when I asked her why they don’t call the clients. She had no response. I called them to ask the prescriber if I can get a refill for my medicine that’s running out. I’ve been trying to be in contact with them for over two weeks and nobody has called me back. I left a voicemail nothing. She gave me one medicine that was dealt for anxiety and depression but when it finished, I told her I needed a refill so I went to CVS and they told me that the insurance is not gonna give the milligram prescribed. They need to go lower or higher and I tried to call the prescriber at Bridgeway and she hasn’t respond to me at all, nobody has called me back. I have no medicine."
"Stay away from this place. Their services are free for most (the only plus). one of the front desk staff members is very rude and confrontational over the phone."
"Went there last Sunday before they even opened, was greeted by a young, small dark haired girl, I presented myself and explained what I was there for, depression and anxiety which had been causing me to think about harming myself and I was looking for help, the girl was immediately dismissive and annoyed with my presence. I filled out the paperwork and when I returned to her she took it, and stayed quiet, which to me is an anxiety trigger, so I asked her what she needed and she just told me to sit down, another 15 min go by and she finally asked me about my insurance, I gave her my info AND SHE LET ME STAND THERE FOR 20 FREAKING MINUTES AND DIDNT SAY A SINGLE WORD, when I finally asked what was going on she said she couldn’t verify my insurance, which she was holding my card in front of her the whole time, she asked me to email her a copy of it and then LEFT TO GET BREAKFAST AT THE CORNER STORE, making sure I heard where she was going bc she was asking around who wanted what from the store…. I have never been so confused and misstated this way, for a place with an advertising for mental health you should do a better job with the person who is the first contact patients have. I left as soon as she walked out because I was embarrassed to sit there any longer."
"Seemed that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They Canceled the day of my appointment. Have us waited for 2 weeks and canceled. Could have been used the time to look elsewhere. Irene is nice and helpful, she called me to inform that she can't take anymore clients. Gave me some resources I can use to have my son seen and get psychiatrist and therapist to help. Receptionist doesn't seem to show care and compassion when I called back to have a schedule again for a different day. She told me she will follow up and call me but she never did. The waiting for 2 weeks and then canceled the day of appointment is terrible in times of crisis."
"Michele B. Was so accommodating when I walked in. She was also so kind to answer all of my questions with such patience! Thank you!"
