He showed me my xrays of shoulders, neck and spine, interpreting them, helping me to understand which of the pt exercises I had been doing for months since I tore my rotator cuff while gardening were useful and which were not. dr. Chase made me feel, at age 82, proud of myself for trying so hard to heal my shoulder. Then he gave me a cortizone shot in my shoulder to give me the extra help I need. "Rude and unprofessional. Refused to wear a mask when seeing my grandmother in the hospital and responded to the request by asking in a nasty tone “don’t you know the pandemic is over?” Which he repeated when I just stated at him in response, in part due to shock that someone with an MD would make such an outrageous comment Although this was one encounter with a hospital specialist, I found his comment and refusal to wear a mask for an evaluation that lasted less than two minutes egregious enough to share. Especially for those of us still masking to protect our immunocompromised and/or elderly loved ones."
