"Had to go to him because he was the covering doctor for my PCP, and when I tell you Dr. Tancer is a nightmare. He is VERY rude and does not know how to speak to patients without hostility. I feel bad for his staff, they must all be tired of him and his horrible attitude. He also had a student shadowing him, and he did not even ask for consent if they could be in the room. Uh, okay? Unacceptable, I did not grant permission for that. Do not go here"

"If you value your life ...stay away from this doctor. Speaking as a nurse whose mother almost died because she trusted his diagnosis that was not appropriately made (no actual workup for his inaccurate diagnosis) ; this doctor needs to retire his practice. Rather then relinquish his ego and direct her to go the emergency room for further testing and lifesaving measures , he prescribed her inappropriate medications with no testing that should have been done prior to the prescriptions. Luckily when I saw my mother, I could see that she was in ACUTE DISTRESS and needed medical attention. Unfortunately, due to my mother's naive belief in this doctor, she delayed going to the ER, which only caused her condition to worsen. Dr. Tancer is a danger to society. UPDATE: After this "doctor" learned that my mother was hospitalized, he called incessantly to "follow up." After my mother informed him that she found herself a real doctor he replied like a child directing her to never call him again. How can this human, who took an oath to do no harm, behave like this? Own up to what you did and move on like an adult with some integrity Dr.Tancer. I will pray for the lives you may put at risk and for you because you are going to need all the help you can get."

"Not the most dependable doctor. Nice and all but he closes his office with no covering doctor and then will not accommodate his patients even with is "part time" hours. Ive worked for a doctor in the past. And she would have never "CLOSED" her practice to go on vacation or go teach or take her CE classes. I HIGHLY suggest seeking a more reliable physician, HIGHLY HIGHLY SUGGESTED!!"

He is kind and considerate of his patients and there is never excessive waiting time. I highly recommend him and his practice."
