"*PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT, I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO* I scheduled a new patient physical in early April to see Doctor Coscia as I hadn't been feeling good for some time. I was told to come in for my appointment at 6 pm, I arrived at 5:30 pm on the dot. I checked in early and there was one patient who was in front of me. I wish I was joking when I say I waited TWO AND HALF hours to be only seen for 15 minutes. When I was telling her my symptoms, and my previous medical history, she brushed it off as if it wasn't important (Maybe because 20-year-olds are immune to sickness????). She took my blood work, told me that she was going to run every test, and assured me that I'd know my results by the following week. I waited and heard nothing back, so I called about a week after she took my blood. The receptionist said she was going to call me two days later, guess what! She never did. So AGAIN I called back about another week and I got the same response. I called AGAIN today (5/2/2024) in the morning. The conversation went like this: Receptionist:“Let me get your info, and we'll give you a call in 2 days”. Me: “I should've received my results and I called already 2 times before” Receptionist: proceeded to go through the entire month of Aprils call log to “assure me” that I've “not once after my appointment called to know my results”. Me: “I did call, you guys took my blood almost a month ago, I need to know the results” Receptionist: “Well since you're new, let me tell you, that's not how we do things here and YOU HAVE TO WAIT two days for my call” and just hung up. Like why… In the time that it took for her to go day by day in the call log, she could've just told me my results. This practice is very unprofessional and doesn't seem to respect or care for their younger patients. Imagine if I have a severe illness or disease that could've been caught early but now because this practice likes to dilly-dally, it's progressed further, and has gone untreated. Each day counts. My health has only declined more. I just want to know what's wrong..."
"Came as a new patient today. I've never walked out of a drs office ever before but today was that day. Took forever to be seen, no workers there at all besides the Dr. I was in for a new patient/physical. Fasted ALL day long to get my blood done for nothing. The Dr saw my age and assumed I would be an "easy" physical/patient but when I pulled out my records and stated I see multiple specialist and had 15 surgeries in the past 5 years she looked at me and said oh wow I'm going to need to go get more paper. For someone as young as you, you shouldn't have all these problems. Very unprofessional of her to say that to someone like I want all these problems I have! She left out of the room and didn't come back in for a bit and I waited and just felt uncomfortable. So I took my things and left! The place is OLD fashioned paper charts, no electronic anything, everything is OUT TO DATE. The patients charts and paperwork is shared in the same room as the refrigerator and microwave, and all you see is thousands of papers all over the room. I wouldn't trust my paperwork there. The blood centerfuge is in the bathroom. The whole place is just very unsanitary and not welcoming at all. If your looking for an up to date primary care dr do NOT go there. I think its time for a retirement very soon. Can't seem to find a good primary dr nowadays, either too old fashioned or the new ones are money hungry and don't care about your health, just your money and insurance! Very very pissed off and disappointed."
"Dr Coscia has been our family doctor for many years. She is very thorough, unique, and intelligent. She is always there when we need her and she provides quality care to her patients. She also listens well and provides helpful advice to help you get back to full health."
"Dr. Coscia is the best primary care doctor I've ever visited. Fair warning, though, that her wait times can be frustratingly long. After waiting a couple of hours, you might be tempted to give up and see another doctor, but trust me when I say she's worth the wait. She spends a lot of time with each patient, offering thorough, helpful advice, non-judgmentally and with compassion."
"Dr. Coscia was and always will be my favorite doctor. She is a wonderful doctor who is not only knowledgeable but compassionate. Unfortunately, I moved to another state so I am no longer able to see her. My family still uses her and loves her as well. She doesn't rush and takes her time with all her patients. I always wished the wait time wasn't so long but Dr. Coscia is definitely worth it!"
