"This is probably the worst ER in the world. It’s a 5th world graded ER. The staff is incredibly rude, your absolutely blessed if you find a competent or a kind worker. I brought my son because it was the hospital closest to me at the time. He was 5 years old and I was told by a evil African American nurse that made it a point to make me leave my son alone. I’m a single mom and the worst thing is to leave my child alone in the hospital. This other nurse told her NO she is allowed to stay but the evil black one went as far as going above the head nurse to get me out. I refuse to leave my son and she brought security in to kick me out. My son freaked out, it was a mess, plus my son was sick. Her reason was , the ER is full and I can’t stay. All the black parents was forced out and whites only was allowed. I recorded everything and will post it on social media. Monte at gunhill RUN. Plus I had to bring my child to a real hospital when we got home because they misdiagnosed him completely."
"My name is Keith McPherson, also known as ACoolNERD. Injury: T10-T12 paraplegic since 2006 with two right-side hemiarthroplasties. I have encountered multiple instances at Montefiore Einstein ER where my basic rights were denied, and I was threatened when leaving due to their accountability issues. Their ER is overpacked, and their doctors are dynamic yet consistently disrespectful, embedding excuses into their efforts to ensure patients leave with the highest bill but the least care. I have substantial evidence to support this sincere statement: STOP and stay away. As a paraplegic in a wheelchair, I faced continuous disdain for my due diligence in knowing my medical history. Prejudice is an understatement. Their deliberate directions to discharge and make demands I knew were not legal, followed by attempts to call security on me when I asserted my rights, highlight their unethical behavior. I respectfully countered their efforts with facts, explaining eloquently their errors and their emotional responses, as they were solely interested in invoicing rather than patient care. Montefiore Einstein ER is a place where patients’ rights and well-being are disregarded. I urge others to stay away for their own safety and peace of mind."
"Took my mom due to an eye emergency. She was in so much pain. Everyone was so nice. From the person registering my mom to the doctors that saw her. My husband couldn’t stay with us as they said only one guardian was allowed and I was interpreting for my mom. Words can’t express the gratitude we have to the two doctors that saw my mom and treated her. They were wonderful! They listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions even though they were busy. (5 stars for the doctors.) The wait time was long but was expected."
"They do a wonderful job. A lot of ppl in the emergency room but they stay afloat. It was my first experience there, I was supporting my sister. The nurse was very kind and efficient. His name is Prince. However the place was to small for all those people in there, they were all together like sardines but they are also very fast as I said before, pretty efficient. Don’t need to wait a long time to be admitted and attended"
