Dr. Feiner's journey began at Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Pursuing his passion for medicine, he earned his MD and PhD in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, supported by a prestigious NIH grant. His commitment to ophthalmology was further honed through a residency at the Scheie Eye Institute, where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship at the Barnes Retina Institute.

Dr. Feiner is renowned for his contributions to ophthalmological research, having received numerous accolades, including the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology Resident Award and fellowships from the Ronald G. Michels Foundation and the Heed Foundation. Currently, he serves as the President of the New Jersey Retina Society and is on the medical staff at Clara Maass Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center.

With over 30 peer-reviewed publications and extensive lecturing experience worldwide, Dr. Feiner is a leader in the field, particularly in diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and ocular lymphoma. As Director of Clinical Trials for NJRetina, he has been the Principal Investigator for 20 clinical trials, contributing to advancements in retinal care.

Dr. Feiner's practice is characterized by cutting-edge surgical and medical approaches, including sutureless vitrectomy and advanced imaging, ensuring the highest standard of care. Patients are often referred by other eye care providers and general practitioners, trusting Dr. Feiner and NJRetina's dedication to excellence and innovation.
