"I will leave the same review as I left for the practice that this man is part of; that is Englewood Orthopedics Associates. After seeing Dr. Jonathan Lee, a spine surgeon , who in my opinion and the opinion of my companion , ignored everything I said to him including telling him I had an inability to walk without opioids, all he wanted me to do was to go to PT . This is the normative protocol for the spine issues that I was having, but was not pertinent to my case in which I could not walk without being on opioids. Feeling completely frustrated, I called back a few days later and one of the staff referred me to the Pain Management Doctor J Panchal. After advising Dr. Panchal I was on opioids and that I could not walk without them, his help was slow , as well. He ordered an MRI to at least understand what was occurring with my spine. The day I saw him to look at my results we discussed an epidural shot, but I also explained that I was getting sick from my medication and my walking was worse. I could only walk when I was on oxycodone/acetaminophen and ibuprofen. I felt I desperately needed surgery, but no one listened to me. In spite of being a Pain Managemnt Doctor, he never asked me about the amount of opioids I was taking. He only assumed that I was getting sick because I was not taking a prescribed nerve medicine consistently. I was not taking it because all the medication I was on was making me very ill. After that visit, I literally collapsed in the parking lot of the office and was later brought to the ER. I thought i was going to die. I was then to learn that I was taking far too many opioids and ibuprofen which Dr. Panchal did not monitor or ask me about. The emergency room doctor hospitalized me immediately and pushed for my surgery. A surgeon from New Jersey Brain and Spine ( I highly recommend that practice) gave me the dystectomy that I so desperately needed. Before my surgery, for over 4 days, I vomited continuously detoxing from all the pain medicine that I was on. All of these medicines could have damaged my liver and led to a coma. Had Dr. Lee or Dr. Panchal listened to me, I would not have gone through this. This was one of the most frightening health scares I have ever had. Because of the doctor at the emergency room , I am able to walk again. He pushed for my surgery because he understood that I could not walk without opioids and now I am in the process of recovering. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I do not believe that this practice cares about its patients and I do not believe that they listen to their patients. I also believe that they are responsible for the unnecessary pain and suffering that I endured for over a month because they did not listen. All they seem to care about was getting paid and following the steps that the insurance company recommends without considering my personal circumstances . I was also later to learn that prolonging a surgery can actually cause permanent nerve damage and if that occurred I would have blamed this practice.I will reiterate, I would not recommend this office to anyone."

"I've been seeing Dr. Panchal for a while now for my back pain-herniated disk. Dr. Panchal is very knowledgeable and takes the time to really understand your situation. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions patiently every visit. Recently I received a spinal injection under Dr. Panchal's care and it was great experience as well, no pain or discomfort. The pain relief has been significant, allowing me to get back to my daily activities. I highly recommend Dr Panchal to anyone struggling with back pain."

"Worst customer service/staff ever. Not only the receptionist was disrespectful, she was confrontative of my symptoms. She called to get more information to set up the appointment, I asked if I could call her back not only she didnt listen she purposely talked over me rudely. That should have cancelled the appointment then. The day after when reaching out to ask some medical questions she was arguing with me about what I was saying. I unfortunately had to cancel the appointment, who treats new patients like that. I couldn't trust the treatment and bedside manner I would receive here. Reading other reviews seems like I might have dodge the bullet. Thankfully there are many doctors around who value professionalism."

"I had pretty severe shooting pain in my left leg from a nerve issue in my lower back. After ordering an MRI, Dr. Panchal gave me a steroid injection in my lower back. I have not experienced any recurrence of my leg pain since. He also did a very good job of showing the issue on the MRI and then where he applied the steroid from the x-ray taken during the operation. I am able to get an appointment, have always been seen promptly when I arrive and have been very satisfied as a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Panchal."
