"Don’t go to this store. The owner, Arline, is dishonest. She pressured me, an 81 year-old cancer patient, into buying a $320 wig that was wrong for my complexion and robbed me of the chance to get a better wig using the rest of my insurance allowance by charging my insurance company the full $500 for a wig retailing at $320. When I asked her why she did that, she said it was ok to do that because “That was to pay for my time. All retail businesses charge extra for their products to pay the rent, the heat and the staff.” My response: But, a $180 more for your time, Arline? When I went to a better wig shop, the sales person noticed that there was no brand name inside the wig that I could compare the cost for this wig at a different wig shop. At this shop, I paid $180 for a wig that I love."

(Unlike the people from Park Ridge Wig Center--dont ever go there!) She left the store happy knowing that she'll look like herself during her treatment. "Had to get a kneeling scooter and walker for my mom who couldn't even get out of the car after her surgery without either. The owner was highly knowledgeable about the equipment and Medicare. She recommended accessories for both to improve the safety and comfort and offered me the floor model to buy when she realized it would be cheaper for me to buy it than rent it. She showed me how to work everything and helped me load it in the car. I was really grateful to find this place, especially after the store recommended by the hospital (based on proximity to the hospital and nothing else), had much higher prices for both and couldn't be bothered to help me in any way, other than to give me the prices. This is the place to go of you want to work with an expert in the medical field (she was, herself, a physical therapist earlier in her career), who is full of knowledge, compassion, and helpfulness."
