"Nobody care about my situation and I have had asthma attacks and I hope more people could caring and understand for the patients."
"Horrible!Been in the waiting room with my grandma who blood pressure has been sitting in the waiting room with a bp of 230 for over 9 hours now. She has had previous cardiac issues and strokes as well as being a dialysis patient. Hopefully they will bring her in the back to be seen soon."
"Horrible emergency department. Extremely dirty and they have the nerve to keep babies there waiting for a room 3-4 hours (11pm -3am) to free up. The word emergency means nothing to these blood suckers! I would keep away because they will not do anything but make you pay for parking. Trashy!"
"I have a great deal of patience, because I've had medical issues for the past 20 years and have been to numerous ER's over the years. I wouldn't have had an issue with this one, except when the doctor asked me what they usually give me for pain. I explained to her that because of certain allergies to some pain meds, they usually go to administer morphine, but since I'm allergic, they switch to Dilaudid because I don't react to it. So she calls my surgeon on the phone and I hear her say, "your patient is demanding we give him Dilaudid." That's not what I said, nor did I demand anything. In fact, I told her I would leave it up to her on what to administer. But to put words in my mouth is unacceptable and unprofessional."
"The hospital itself is great. The emergency room, on the other hand, is absolutely filthy. Yes, patients can be nasty but at the same time there is nobody cleaning. You see old bodily fluids (either blood or vomit) painted in the walls by the check in area. It smells horrible in there. And the wait times are horrible. This place looked worse than hospitals do in third world countries. The wait times are insane. If the nurse gets your blood pressure and sends you back to the waiting area, you easily get a $100 fee just for that without seeing the doctor yet."
