"My experience was extremely pleasant regarding office staff(especially both physician assistants) both pre & post operation. I was more than satisfied with Dr Emami as my surgeon, he answered all my quirky questions with grace, although I understood it was a combined effort, as I saw another doc post surgery. I had spinal fusion surgery w/disc replacement. Afterwards, I was always comfortable, my needs were met & fortunately I had little pain. 10 months in, I am quite satisfied. Thank you to all!"

"My father recently had surgery with Dr. Emami and his team. He lives out of state and the care he received at the office and the hospital were exceptional. Prior to his surgery he was in extreme agony for a few years. He previously had a lumbar fusion with another doctor but his pain continued. Dr. Emami did a revision surgery that was much less invasive then the previous surgery on my dad a few weeks ago and he hasn’t felt this great in years! He is walking and back to his everyday activities pain free! He is even able to play with his 3 year old grandson which is priceless! "Disappointed with the diagnosis and overall experience! Went to see Dr. Emami for lower back pain. - Long wait time in spite of having an appointment. - Dr. barely spent 5-10min with me and seemed to be in a rush to leave the room. I had to keep pulling him back to address my questions. - His and the nurse practitioner's diagnosis were completely different. The Dr. might be looking at things only from a surgical stand point and not otherwise based on what he told me about my MRI. The Dr. told me "he thinks" I have so and so. This did not give me any confidence in their diagnosis and treatment. - The nurse practitioner sent a diff. prescription to my pharmacy which was not consistent with what the Dr. had suggested. - Had to call back multiple times to get the right one in. - Felt a total lack of empathy and interest in spending time with the patient for the right diagnosis and treatment."

"I came to see Dr. Emami regarding a perceived failed cervical surgery. Dr. Emami was able to ascertain that I needed a corrective procedure to address the post operative severe pain I was experiencing. He was able to explain my issue clearly and to the point, I had this procedure in June and have been virtually pain free since. I was duly impressed with Dr. Emami’s team. Dr. Emami was also fully vested in the post operative recovery process by communicating with me frequently on overall status, this is a rarity in the medical profession. His team are courteous and professional that enabled the surgical preparation process to go without incident. I highly recommend Dr. Emami! I had a truly amazing experience with him and his team."

"Dr. Emami is a wonderful doctor who took the time to listen to my complaints and discuss the alternatives with me. He didn't rush into the surgery option. However, when the non-surgical treatments didn't work, he made me feel confident that surgery would help. He took the time to explain in detail the surgery. Following the surgery, I am feeling so much better. I am at the 6 week mark post surgery and thankful that I had the operation. Although I still have remnants of the nerve discomfort, Dr. Emami assured me that once I'm fully healed, I won't feel the "hangover pain" anymore. Dr. Emami is an excellent doctor and surgeon.
