I came in to get surgery clearance and also asked to provide a refill for poison ivy cream and he said I’m not here for that. I’m here for surgery clearance so that means I’d have to return just to get a prescription refill. Guess he can’t do two things at once or he just wants me back for another copay. Either way it’s unprofessional"

"Update: front desk receptionist has no customer service skills, completely cuts you off when requesting or needs information. This position should be for someone who is completely patient and understands needs. Gives you back and forth and sometimes false information. This woman has a nasty attitude. Dr perdomo is a good doctor and the guy who use to answer calls was great however his new front desk/staff is not friendly, never pick up the phone. It is by the far the hardest to get in touch, to even make an appointment, I wait on hold for 20 mins every single time IF they pick up. It is by far the most stressful time to get a refill on prescriptions at that. Also a lot of miscommunication. The front desk also have an attitude and just a lot of misinformation. I specifically ask for virtual meets to receive my results as it is very difficult to take off from work. Again Dr Perdomo is a great doctor but his staff needs to do better."

"After 5 years with Dr Perdomo, a great Dr, I had to leave and find another PCP. Soverign Medical and their office staff in Fairview is a disgrace to "healthcare". They are rude robots who couldn't care less about providing ANY professional service. You're worse than just another number there. I left my favorite Dr. imagine how much they SUCK!"

"Dr Perdomo is a very good doctor my daughter was seen by him, but his assistant never evaluated her for a complete physical. the assistant only take the vitals signs and blood work, Dr perdomo assistant needs to do a complete physical, then it'll be given to the doctor. Also, too many secretary upfront."

"To individuals seeking a healthcare provider, be cautious. While they may be ok for simple annual check-ups, my personal experience suggests challenges on any matters beyond that (will add just one below). While Dr. Perdomo answers my health-related queries and requests (as expected minimum from your health care provider), I have encountered challenges with the clinic's admin processes. The phone answering staff, in particular, could benefit from being more proactive. I try to contact the clinic during mornings and before closing hours, I always face delays in receiving responses to my inquiries (ok, but I should not have to call constantly to receive updates). Recently, I encountered a significant issue with the communication of my prescription to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding resulting in my prescription being filled at half the required dosage. Given my current circumstances of staying out of state due to a family emergency, resolving this matter promptly is crucial for the continuity of my health journey. I appreciate the offer for a virtual appointment with Dr. Perdomo in two days (which means I'll need to cut my dosage cold turkey for 2 days). However, I am concerned that the clinic is unable to provide information regarding the associated costs of this virtual visit. Clear communication on such matters is essential for patients to make informed decisions...? Considering these experiences, I have reluctantly decided to seek healthcare elsewhere. I believe my situation highlights areas where improvements can be made, particularly in the handling of prescription communications and proactive communication from the staff. I share this feedback with the hope that it contributes to the ongoing enhancement of services at your clinic. I hope that the Office of Dr. Perdomo will consider this input constructively."
