He graduated from the accelerated 7-year combined Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree program at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was honored with memberships in the Psi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Phi National Medical Honor Societies.
Dr. Ghobrial completed his internship and residency at Rowan University-SOM/Jefferson Health in South Jersey, gaining comprehensive training in all orthopaedic subspecialties, including trauma surgery at Cooper Hospital. As Chief Resident, he was recognized with the Resident Research Award for his outstanding research in hip and knee replacement and revision.
Further honing his expertise, Dr. Ghobrial pursued a fellowship in hip and knee replacements/revisions at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Under the mentorship of Dr. Marc Hungerford, he mastered advanced techniques such as Minimally Invasive Direct Anterior Hip Replacement, which offers patients a quicker recovery and a return to their daily activities sooner.
