"I thought I had a problem with my windows. I had 5 new windows installed and even after having them professionally cleaned there was streaking, drip marks, banding etc. I called the dealer and although they felt the windows were not faulty they were accommodating and professional and they were going to send out a techincal consultant to investigage. Before they came out I decided to clean the windows again (this time myself) and felt a "film" on them that, once I cleaned it off, the condition went away. The dealer representative Willis Dominguez said that Anderson says as soon as the windows are installed the protective film on the exterior should be removed. My contractor did not do that and that's what caused the issue. The professional window washers solution was not strong enough to take it off and it required my "elbow grease" to get off. All is good now! Thank you to Willis Dominguez and Windowrama for being willing to do whatever it took to keep a customer happy - even when it was my contractors error to not remove the film after installation. "WindowRama gave us one the best shopping experiences ever. We initially called their phone with desperation. Our contractor started renovation but we were behind on purchasing the windows. We tried to get in stock sizes from local Lowes or HomeDepot, but availability was horrendous and we got the run around when online inventories were wrong or plainly unavailable. Finally we decided to give the local Andersen dealer a try, but worried prices could be steep and wait time can be long. We spoke to Mike Hood, who went on to turn the tide and save our project! Within an hour, Mike sent over the quote and architectural drawing for us to review with contractor and make an informed decision. When I asked to see window samples of what we are going to get (since we never bought Andersen windows before), he sent me over to the nearest showroom at Manhasset. Another Mike there and Joe greeted me warmly and answered every questions under the Sun I had about windows until I was completely satisfied. I finalized the purchase the next morning without hesitation. It was the easiest purchase I had to make ever in an otherwise stressful home renovation project. We would highly recommend WindowRama to anyone who needs to renovate their home. It offers fantastic windows, great service, delivered by truly decent people, so rare these days. Truly a treasure."

"Do yourself a favor a go someplace else. Contractor recommended this place to us. We order Anderson French patio doors with oil-rubbed bronze hardware. Doors arrived with gold hinges and oil-rubbed bronze handles which appeared as if it were spray painted. Contacted salesperson Pete who attempted to convince me that we had ordered gold hinges, so we asked him to order the hinges to match the oil-rubbed bronze handles. Then proceeds to tell me that "95% of people don't match the hinges and handles". Really? He quotes us one price for the hinges and then weeks later calls back to give us another price stating that the cost had increased. We then had issues with the handles when our contractor was attempting to install we noticed that it was missing a piece. On further examining the part it was determined that the handle was a used handle that was packaged and given to us as a "new item". Not impressed with the level of service at all. After spending almost $5,000 for a door one would not anticipate this kind of experience. I ordered a similar door from Home Depot 4 years ago and the service that we received there compared to WindowRama is unmatched. For that I will NEVER shop here or recocommed to anyone again.
