"I went to FD in Meadford to pick a few healthcare products such as Band aids, Wound care etc.I went to checkout to pay except that 3 to 4 items were charged differently than what was priced myself and one of the cashiers saw and agreed that it should be what was show under or above the item I said I would like to speak with a manager and was told by another gentleman that he was the manger I explained what the price was listed as, and was told it wasn’t his fault they haven’t had time to change the prices in the store & there price on there registering gun was what needed to be paid 10-20 cents was taken of the items that were marked 2-3$ more although the price was clearly seen and there co- worker agreed that isn’t most Policy anywhere but his coworkers also would not listen to him and they seemed to be upset about a job and price they didn’t change and it was questioned by a consumer….."

"I came into the family dollar in yaphank next to the stop &shop a few days ago, I was having a terrible day and the last thing I wanted to do was trek through the store, when I arrived a nice young lady greeted me and made me feel welcome , the store was very clean and organized , when I couldn’t find the nail file I didn’t even have to go up and ask , the new manager I believe her name was kate, came up to me and asked if She could help me with anything. She assisted me and showed me right away here they were. She was such a kind woman. After such a hard day it was so refreshing to walk into a neat and clean store and be helped and treated so well. This encounter turned my day around. Employees like this are what keeps people like me coming back to the same store time and time again! I’m not sure if she realizes the impact her kindness had on me that day but it was so great fully appreciated!!!"
