"UPDATE: They've already closed up shop after less than a year. We have ice in our gutters from standing water, screws sticking out, and daylight showing. Avoid at all costs. Good luck getting anyone to return calls, including "Corporate." If they ever do make this right, it'll be the 3rd time coming out to fix this mess. Steer clear of these franchises. They are all individually owned and not backed by corporate. You’ve seen the yard signs, DON’T DO IT. Don’t even consider it. No show twice, terrible install, nothing is right, poor communication, and unprofessional. Take a look at just a sample of what you’ll get, this isn’t all. Yes, that is a piece of our old gutters they used to try to fix their measurement error. The pictures also don’t show every gutter with a 2-3” run, some places ending below the soffit and fascia."
"Already out of business in less than a year so I don't think I need to say much more. Absolute worst experience with a contractor. Contacted them to come out for the 3rd time now to fix their work. "Will check the schedule" a few days later "We closed up shop", and now Ken has ghosted us. "Corporate", and I use that term loosely, is a joke. Good luck trying to get a call back from them. Oh, and by the way, even though this branch closed they are apparently still responsible for their work...lol. Save yourself the headache and go with a REAL company, not these franchises!"
"The biggest thing to know is that Brothers That Just Do Gutters is a chain and each one is independently owned and operated, so good reviews for one don’t necessarily translate to how good another branch will be. The second biggest thing to know is that they do use a central scheduler, but there is no central HR or Customer Service. So if the branch you choose is disorganized and flaky, there’s not an easy solution because that branch is also their own Customer Service. My story is that I had a relatively small job where 2 sides of our gutters needed replaced in order to stop water coming into our basement during storms. I appreciated that Dan didn’t try to upsell me. The work was supposed to be a 1-day job. But they had to come back 3 more times because during each fix they caused new problems. It took over 2 months to finish. There was bad communication throughout, and it was very stressful for me. Each time it rained during the 2 months I was worried about our basement taking in water, which is why I needed the repair in the first place! If you don’t have that kind of problem or if you value low price above all else, you’ll probably be fine. I regretted doing this repair with Brothers That Just Do Gutters. Day of, they realized they miscalculated and needed more equipment to finish the job. Dan said they would come back the next day but actually it wasn’t until after the weekend. In the meantime, we didn’t have any downspouts during a big storm and Dan didn’t respond to my calls/texts, so water that the new gutters collected just gushed down. During their second visit, they added the downspouts, but they didn’t attach the mitered corner well enough and also some of the soffit siding came undone. They weren’t clear about when they would come back. Weeks later, in their third visit, they fixed those things but in the process pulled the gutter away from the edge and dislocated a separate downspout (see pictures). I was extremely frustrated at that point and stressed because again water was just pouring in. I tried to get in touch with the owner to escalate the situation but he was checked out of the process and I even got form emails from him asking for a positive review. I felt like I was in limbo. Finally, they came back a fourth time to secure the edge and reattach the downspout. I’m glad it finally finished. Hopefully it was a quality repair by the end. They were apologetic once I said that I would be leaving a negative review, so I don’t know, maybe they’ll improve over time."
"They were great! The worker were nice, clean, professional and helpful. They took time to explain their work before, during and after the service. My gutters have never looked better! They are very reasonable also! I would recommend them without hesitation!!"
"Good experience from start to finish. I had Dan come and he actually called and let me know when he would arrive. Gave a good quote on new gutters and that they could install them the same week. And they did! Looks good and very happy."
