Reviews of PawsItive Image Pet Resort
"I have been taking my dog here for daycare for almost two years, however, recently service has greatly declined. Two days in a row the staff forgot to feed my dog while there for over 10 hours. They know my dog is on a lot of medication and a specialized diet with the diagnosis of IBS. I am so upset that I am switching daycares. Animal neglect of my dog is absolutely unacceptable!"
"We took our 6 year old dog skye in to get groomed for the first time at this new groomer. I was so nervous but they did such a wonderful job and it was only 77$ . Will be going back! Thank you so much"
"Responding to a review from Violet Venus A little education on Kennel Cough. Otherwise known as Bordetella or kennel cough, this common airborne virus presents itself with symptoms such as a dry cough that is sometimes accompanied by sneezing. Veterinary immunology authority Dr. Ronald Schultz has stated that bordetella is an “un-vaccinatable” disease. The vaccines are generally ineffective and will not prevent your dog from getting kennel cough. The infection is caused by a wide variety of bacterial and viral agents, and no single vaccine can provide protection from them all, nor will the vaccine treat an active infection. The good news is: just like human colds, there are rarely complications and symptoms usually resolve on their own. A vet may prescribe an antibiotic if the infection is bacterial. WHAT YOU CAN DO: if your dog shows symptoms: -please keep your dog at home (kennel cough is also commonly spread in dog parks and on the street when dogs interact) -harness to prevent your dog’s collar from aggravating the situation -increase humidity -diffuse lavender, eucalyptus or tea tree oil, all of which contain antibacterial and antiviral properties. Note: These essential oils are only for homes without cats! -boost your pet’s immune system with healthy foods that are rich in antioxidants. If you see your dog showing symptoms of a URI and the symptoms don’t improve within a week, the coughing becomes progressively worse, they develop a fever or stop eating, contact your vet."
"This place is NOTORIOUS for kennel cough! For whatever reason, they deny it’s a problem, but every year, there is an outbreak that they refuse to acknowledge or do anything about. We’re tired of you spreading this illness in our community and making our dogs sick. Do better."
"I have been a customer of Pawsitive image for years now and have had many of my dogs groomed there. The grooming part of the business is good but then i needed to have my dogs boarded there for 2 nights. I called in to check the prices and i was told it would be $138 per night. I agreed and also wanted a treat given to each of my dogs that cost $15 per dog. I wrote on the contract treats x 5 meaning i only wanted one treat given for each of my dogs. Since i would have been picking up the dogs on a Saturday the girl told me pickup times for that day were 9-12 or 5-7. She asked which time would be more convenient for me and i told her 5-7. Not one time did she mention if i picked them up between 5-7 i would be charged for an extra day!!! When i go to pick up my dogs my Bill was about $550! I was thinking my Bill was going to be around $350. Not only did they charge me for an extra night, but they gave my dogs treats for both days when it was specified i only wanted 5 treats. They charged me for 10!! I called them to discuss the bill and they said the prices and times are listed in their pamphlet. I didn’t look at a pamphlet!!! I called them in person to get prices. They just argued with me and refused to lower the bill. NEVER will i go there again! I was a great customer who tipped well!"
