Reviews
"The name may have changed from Little Guyana to Value Fresh but the practices are still atrocious. Some of the people behave like they don't want to be there. That's not the issue though. I went in to buy some salted codfish to find the container the fish is in, lined with plastic and filled with water. Salted codfish is only reconstituted before cooking by soaking in water for a few hours or by boiling to extract salt. l can see only one reason to soak in water in the store, to add weight."
"The guy in the bakery with the gold earring throws the pastry and oily snacks (potato ball and fish cakes) into a paper bag with the sour. By the time I got home everything was mushy and I had to throw it all away. No common sense!"
"I bought a watermelon, cut it open and it was rotten. I went back to the store for an exchange, they said no, we cant take the loss, you have to. Brand new store lost a customer over a melon. Beware."
