"I visited this location a few days ago and had a very weird and unpleasant experience. My boyfriend needed an inhaler sooner than we could get a prescription, and we checked online to confirm that walgreens sold inhalers over the counter. We looked for a few minutes and were unsuccessful, so we stopped one of the staff members to ask where it was located. Despite making eye contact with my boyfriend who was standing right in front of the staff member, he looked around and was pointing to the people standing near us as if to ask who needed help. My boyfriend interjected and said “Where can we find the over the counter inhalers?” to which the staff member replied “what is that?” He repeated the question and received the exact same answer. Instead of trying again, we decided to continue our search without any help. Another staff member came to the area that we were standing in to open a locked item for someone else. He was dressed in normal clothing and was carrying a boom box playing music that was loud and vulgar and stood right behind us singing along to the music while he assisted someone else. We decided to just leave because we couldn’t find what we were looking for and were not helped by anyone working there. Over all a very strange and uncomfortable experience. This location used to be fine, but recently this has been the vibe every time I have been back. We went to another walgreens in Brooklyn later that day and were helped immediately and were in and out within a few minutes. I would recommend going to any other pharmacy in the area before coming here."
"Staff is very unwelcoming very rude was not pleased by my experience going inside the store. The elderly lady is very rude and disrespectful. Also very racist couldn’t believe what I seen with my eyes I didn’t catch her name but she has glasses with braids. Her other employee begin to scream in rage at me due to the altercation and words that was exchanged . Long story short it don’t hurt to walk to the cvs down on 72 just two blocks over wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone no wonder why it’s never no customers VERY POUR CUSTOMER SERVICE"
"Unfortunately the pharmacy personnel is so disorganized, make you wait unnecessarily and tell you to come back later claiming your order is not ready even though you got a text from them saying it is ready to pick up!"
"Walgreens is good location, could definitely step up this location it’s really run down considering the area . Also there is a lot of random products they put under lock and key which means you constantly have to find and wait for a service person to help you. But the staff is always very nice and very helpful and the prices are all right . Well organized and clean."
"Walgreens could definitely step up this location it’s really run down considering the area and the increased competition a block away with a new Target. Also there is a lot of random products they put under lock and key which means you constantly have to find and wait for a service person to help you. Toothpaste? Baby formula? Why?! But the staff is always very nice and very helpful and the prices are fine."
