"Biased hiring. Nothing on app matched the store. Even told me to go check, even though he knew there wasnt more. Im in my work gear and maintaining a calm, and friendly demeanor, and hes trying to excalate the situation. I wish other stores were available but they've seemed to have closed down. And maybe because of the same reasons this one should too."

"Their card machines are constantly not working. My debit card almost never works at any Seven Eleven location and after speaking with friends they have all said the same. Today however I had the worst interaction by an employee. I was trying to check out and an older man (employee) gets upset because my card doesn't work on the machine. So I tried several times and even tried the pass option and it still wouldn't work. He starts screaming "its your chip" over and over. I said sir no its your machine. This happens only at your locations. So I asked him to try on the other register. He replies Oh that one doesn't work. So I said well then its safe to say this one doesn't either. There was a line behind me and a customer right behind me said it happens to him all of the time. In the past I simply walked away and the employees at other locations were sincere about it but this man yelling at me and shaming me for having a "bad card" really made me livid. He made it seem as if I did not have money when in fact its a machine error. I've occasionally come to this location since its close to work but will not return after being spoken to in that gross manner."
