"This is a terrible, and I mean terrible GameStop. Me and my son were so happy to buy the newest Star Wars trading card blaster box that just released! And according to their own “policies,” you cannot buy more than one of these $25 blaster boxes. This is unheard of. Knowing this was off, I then called the GameStop corporation, and spoke to a customer service associate, and we said EXACTLY what happened. The customer service associate was shocked, and replied to us with, “ALL GameStops should have the same policies / rules”, and that the maximum 1 box per customer, was a complete made-up fairy tale. So, after speaking to this amazing associate, we marched right back into the store, to be greeted poorly. We then referred to their made-up “policy” and told the lady standing at shorter than my 14-year old son, that this was indeed nonsense. Coincidentally, the manager called the 5’2” employee at the exact same time I was speaking. So, I asked to speak to him. Right before, we spoke to this “manager” the short employee told us that “talking like this was making her feel a certain type of way”. Obviously, this was such a go-to response for her, because she did this at least 6 times while we were there. Then, about time we spoke to the “manager” to be greeted with an angry Grinch-like voice. I then told him that we already spoke to the customer service associate, and that GameStop’s cannot have their own policies regarding limits on trading cards. This absolute clown then replied saying that “we have a policy that says you can only buy 1 box of cards per day, per customer.” Again, there was NO SIGN! I ended up saying that the higher-ups already clarified with me that this exact “policy” is not allowed! So we ended up saying that we will NEVER EVER be back at this trash location, and I will MAKE SURE that others know not to come here EVER AGAIN! And for anyone that lives in Queens, NY… there is are way better GameStop’s in Fresh Meadows, Jamaica, Ozone Park, Corona, Westbury, New Hyde Park, Hicksville, Astoria, the Bronx, and Valley Stream. Also, there are Target’s, Five Below’s, Walmart’s, and Best Buy’s located near Bay Terrace. And they are at most 30 minutes away from this hot garbage! If you are reading this, don’t fall for the scam. Hopefully, this “GameStop” gets shut down pretty soon."
"Great variety of games here and I love the fact they started bringing back ps3 games xbox 360 as well. Definitely greats deals everywhere inside . This is now my new favorite spot for games."
"Diana rocked our world by helping us redeeming some stuck Vbucks gift cards on our Nintendo switch. It took us days for us to figure it out and Diana was so helpful so professional and went and e and beyond. Super recommend the store! Thanks Diana - Liliana and Antonio Sindler"
"Never had a problem finding what I need or getting help from the clerk."
"Asked for a new copy at time of purchase, was given a open copy, with a clearance tag on it. Was told no stores sell this game new, went to pick up the same game, the same day from a local Bestbuy. Tried to return the game in person told me that clearance copies are non returnable, yet if I had known I wasn’t going to get a new game at time of purchase, Wouldn’t opt for an open case game. Do not recommend this store. Unprofessional."
