"I went into the Montclair store a few days ago. I was the only customer and the salespeople did not look up or acknowledge me at all ( which is ok) but when I went to look at the cosmetics a woman just stood next to me, no words. When I asked if I could try a particular makeup she handed to me without even cleaning it off. Her helping me seemed like the last thing on earth she wanted to do. She made me feel very uncomfortable. I will never go into that store or buy another product from Jones Road. It's a shame , Bobbie Brown stands for women supporting women yet the help in her store behave just the opposite. Horrible treatment."

"I informed Jones Road sales person that there was a problem with the Miracle Balm foundation I purchased several months back. After a few months, the formulation developed particulates and could not be used. She said that there was, indeed, a problem with the early Miracle Balm foundations and they had to be reformulated. Under the circumstances I think free replacement product is in order. Instead I got a 3-day sample. This is poor business practice for a product that is expensive and clearly did not undergo appropriate shelf life testing before Marketing."

"Nice little boutique! I walked in without an appointment, but everyone was so nice and i was helped very quickly by Siobahn, who was very friendly and helpful! She got me into some Face Pencils and a Brow Pencil, and also educated me on how best to apply them, which was really awesome! I might be back soon for a few more things soon, since it’s more fun to shop in store than online."

"Joan's Road is a small boutique full of drench, moisturizing, soothing cosmetics and skincare! Perfect for the winter weather and sun tanned damaged skin. Excellent for dry skin and those who like minimal make up and aging skin. I am all above and with weather changes, my skin changes, at the moment I am dry so I am in love with how versatile Joan's Road can accommodate me. For example, I can wear my everyday foundation with the miracle balm in flushed to give me a sunkissed look in the winter weather. I can wear the Joan's Road foundation when I don't want to wear a heavier foundation and with a powder blush! Joan's Road cosmetic sales personnel were knowledgeable and super nice! Situated in a nice brick building that reminds me of shops in Soho. Be aware that the store front does not actually sit on the street address google displaces. When you find it, have fun!"
