"First time meeting Dr Mann. He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and very professional. He makes you feel very comfortable about having your surgery done by him. I highly recommend him"
"He was very dismissive with me. When I explained the pain in my feet at the end of each day, he just looked at me and said, “my feet are sore at the end of the day, too.”"
"Thank you for providing this seminar for those who were not able to participate live. I appreciated the team approach for the surgeries. I thought Dr. Mann's explanations of each surgery were very detailed and very educational. The question and answers were informative. Thank you for this opportunity to learn more about hip and knee surgery."
"In all honesty if I could leave no stars I would. I went to Dr Mann as multiple members of my team thought I needed to get my hip checked out as they were concerned about a possible torn cartilage. I have multiple chronic and some progressive health conditions which put me at a high risk for this too. To say Dr Mann was dismissive, rude and disrespectful would honestly be putting it lightly. As soon as I mentioned I had Ehlers Danlos Syndrome he became instantly dismissive and acted as though I was just exaggerating everything. He told me it was impossible for joints to sublux or partially dislocate (which is very common with EDS) and he told me that the cartilage on my x ray was completely fine, which you can't see cartilage on an x ray. His method of a physical exam was also extremely uncomfortable and left me feeling very uneasy. I've been a patient at this orthopedic practice for years, but my appointment with this physician was not by any means a good experience, physically, mentally or emotionally speaking."
"Dr. Mann performed my total knee replacement just eight weeks ago. I had heard so many horror stories about how painful the surgery was that I put it off for eight long years. Had I only known. I went home the same day of my surgery. I started PT three days later. My pain level never went above 4-5 even three days after my surgery when the nerve block wore off. I gave PT 100% both at the actual PT session two times per week, as well as at home daily. I knew how important PT was to a successful knee replacement surgery. The most an artificial knee can flex is 130° and, according to my therapist, in all the years he has practiced, he could count the times on one hand a patient attained it. Well, at the age of 61, I did it!!! Dr. Mann did such a tremendous job with the replacement of my knee and I highly recommend him!!! Don't be afraid to undergo this surgery. It is a game changer!!!"
