He graduated with honors from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City in 2007. His postgraduate training includes an Osteopathic Internship at Long Beach Medical Center and Family Medicine training at Overlook Medical Center, a clinical affiliate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. His clinical expertise is particularly notable in orthopedic and sports medicine, with a significant focus on joint injections.

Dr. Castro is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is an esteemed member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.
