Reviews
"My review of Dr. Huckell is not for his current residence; however this is for a time when I was his patient at Johns Hopkins in 95'. During this time I was suffering from the inability to use my legs; suffering from instability (I could be standing still and without warning I would fall flat on my face at times), the inability to walk a straight line, involuntary muscle movement (legs would kick nonstop for a period and I could not make it stop) & the loss of feeling in my legs. All of those things happened in order that I wrote as well as they compounded on top of each other. So after seeing 4 different doctors (my parents weren't confident in their capabilities about diagnosing my issue) my parents came across Dr. Huckell. On the first consultation my parents and even I felt at ease with his knowledge and straight forwardness. He found the issue and reviewing tests and such and it was the t-section of my spinal column was impacting my spinal cord. He explained to me the more than likely outcome of such a surgery (I would probably not come out walking or having feeling in my legs because it was not known how much damage was done to my spinal cord), it took a moment to take it all in but because of his honesty and compassion we all agreed to the surgery. The surgery as I was told was 8 hours or so; all I remember is the fact of being woken up in the middle of surgery and Dr. Huckell asking me what day it is was or something of that nature to make sure I was ok after answering I was put back under and next I remember waking up in I.C.U. A few days past and I was out of I.C.U. and it was at this time in a regular room when Dr. Huckell came to check on me and see how I was doing and testing my foot for feeling and when he put sharp object to the sole of my foot I reacted and he and I both was shocked (previously on consultation he did it and it was a dud). My situation was corrected and ever since I completed therapy to learn how to walk again I have been walking and such since. Dr. Huckell I never got the chance to say thank you all those years ago! So I say thank you and because of God and you I am still walking and going...thank you again and again! This Dr. was a God send for me and I still stand by it. R. Cooper"
"I’ve been going to this office for almost 14 years I’ve had 2 back surgeries with Dr.Huckle and I have never had a bad experience. Staff is always kind, reasonable waiting times when going to doctors appointments and can’t say enough kind words about the doctor himself. I would recommend him to anyone. He is amazing!!!"
"I've had 3 surgeries by Dr Cameron Huckell. Will never have anyone else do my neck and spine surgeries. The best Dr. Only good experiences."
"Very disrespectful staff. Never answers their phones. Dr Cameron Huckle is very judgemental and rude. Gives you the run around if a surgery needs to be scheduled. Will give false accusations. Will come up with any excuse possible such as age, gender, for a surgery and why they don't want to do it, even though a patient is in excruciating pain. Does not treat patients that have anxiety or depression with respect they mock and make fun of. Male staff is very disrespectful to the women patients. Say your appointment is at 10:30 am, they will make you wait up to an hour before they even call you into a room. Then you sit and wait for even longer for a Dr/RN/PA anyone to come and check in on you to complete your evaluation. I don't recommend this orthopedic they may say they are the best in WNY but they're definitely not living up to those standards."
"Dr Cameron Huckell did my neck surgery back in 2007 after a major car accident. In Dec 2019 he did a 5 level fusion of my thorasic spine. Both surgeries went way better than I could have imagined and the pain relief I have is so huge that i could never thank him enough! When the nurses and doctors at my primary care and other specialists offices all see Dr Cameron Huckell for their spine issues, it says something about his abilities!"
