"Received two smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in a padded envelope where both the boxes and detectors were in poor shape. Emailed the company repeatedly without response. Tried to call their phone number but it automatically hangs up on you. Reached out on instagram and again, no response. This company has nonexistent communication and does not seem to be a legitimate business."
"TERRIBLE customer service. Do not do business with them. I have been hung up on multiple times and emailed them a handful of times with no response. I returned an order and never received a refund."
"***SCAM ALERT*** Sitting at home on the coldest day of the year, I discovered that a component of my heating system was broken, and that this company had it in stock and offered overnight shipping. On a Wednesday afternoon, I placed the order. By Friday afternoon, it has still not shipped. That would mean that at the earliest, my order, placed with overnight shipping, would arrive six days after being placed. Meanwhile, my family is freezing in our home, waiting for the order to ship. What a ridiculous scam to offer overnight shipping and not actually bother to ship the item. Closing at noon on Fridays and staying closed over the weekends is also kind of disappointing as far as customer service goes. UPDATE: I called this company on Friday afternoon and left a detailed voicemail requesting a call back. I then emailed them immediately afterwards requesting that they cancel the order. 5 days later, on the following Wednesday, the item still has not shipped, they have not returned my call, and they have not responded to my email. I called again today, and got *their answering service.* This company is an obvious fraud. STAY AWAY."
"Before I could install the smoke detectors, Hurricane Ian destroyed the building. Contacted Wholesalehome by email, telling them this and requesting an RMA. Response said they were closed for 12 days for Sukkah. After 12 days, I requested the RMA again. Response said they were closed until September 28 for Rosh Hashana. The response was dated October 23. Requested the RMA many more times for weeks. No response. My son lives in Brooklyn, so I asked him to visit their office at 1143 60th Street in Brooklyn. It is Sweet Home Adult Day Care Center. I'm sure there is a good explanation for all of this, but I can't get Wholesalehome to communicate with me. Edit: Shulem Eisenberg and Marvin Jarlei Garcia emailed me the return address and an RMA. I have shipped the package. I will update when I get a refund. 2nd Edit: Received a refund from Wholesalehome. Added two stars to the review for this. Still two stars off for the many weeks of no response to my RMA requests."
"I ordered an eco ceramic wall heater from them. When I received it I noticed it had damage to the lower side which resulted in a hairline crack. I contacted them and they were very prompt about sending me another unit. Well, I opened the second one with no damage that I could see, hung it and turned it on. Almost immediately another hairline crack appeared. I've emailed them multiple times and have heard nothing in response. I don't fault them from the manufacturer defect, however their customer service has blatantly ignored me which I do not appreciate. Edit: I was contacted by Abe this evening. We discussed what had happened and he explained how their email was having a glitch. He was able to rectify the situation which I appreciated. Contacting them was a bit tricky but in the long run they made it right. Thank you Abe."
