"Very helpful and had just what I needed."
"One of their electrical inspectors told me he would come out to investigate a electrical issue in a senior and disabled apartment building managed by MJ Peterson. The building has been having power flashes where the power goes off and on. I notified the inspector that National Grid was not taking action and he told me he would come out the following day. After waiting a couple hours in the lobby for the inspector, so he could gain entry into the building and so i could give him a list of the power flashes, the building superintendent told me he contacted the Amherst Electrical Department and canceled the inspection. This to me is a total lack of respect for the safety and health of all the tenants along with being very rude by the inspector not calling me and letting me know they were not going to show up. The inspector had my phone number and apartment number and instead of doing a inspection or contacting me chose to listen to a superintendent with absolutely no electrical knowledge instead of a tenant with a engineering degree. I have fully learned you leave your dignity at the door when living at MJ Peterson managed Peppertree Heights but when the town of Amherst gives tenants the same treatment something needs to be done about it."

"Very disappointed with the codes department not enforcing their own codes. I tried several attempts to resolve neighbor leaving garbage against my house and fence. Just get told we don't get involved in neighbor disputes. Told to just move it. Why do we have a codes department? ? No stars ."
"Upon completion of renovations on my home, I needed to schedule a final inspection with the Amherst Building Department. Speaking with Mr. Trabert in the Building Dept was always a pleasure. He was helpful in getting me to the final inspection approval, and was always courteous and respectful."
