"I've been coming here to see Dr. Gennett for 10 years now and I've always felt super comfortable with him and he's super friendly, easily one of my favorite doctors in the area. I was told I have IT band issues and would prescribe me new orthotics every year, although unfortunately my chronic hip pain never seemed to go away, along with occasional knee pain during physical activity which I assumed was from a separate issue. This was until I moved out of the area recently and started seeing two different foot specialists, one a doctor and one for orthotics. Both doctors were completely shocked at the orthotics I've been using; I was told they have absolutely no support which is especially a need for my issues, and that I could find better support with Dr Scholl's shoes than what I'm using. They were not surprised in the slightest that I had as much pain as I did. I was also told I have really high arches which is part of the source of my issues, something I never got diagnosed with or told I had. I received extremely supportive new orthotics that completely cup my heel and give me high arch support, and it was a night and day change for me and I wish I found all this out sooner. I can't say he's a totally bad doctor as he may be better for treating other issues, but this was just my experience as someone with IT Band Syndrome and High Arches"
