"Jen Rose is completely unprofessional. She rolls her eyes, scoffs, & makes faces when I simply disagree with her. Doesn’t listen. Doesn’t make a comfortable or welcoming environment. Very judgmental and dismissive. Very argumentative. Imposes her personal opinions onto people. I suggest not meeting with her as she is insufferable and seems to be more messed up in the head than the people she’s “treating”. If you value your sanity look elsewhere for a therapist. She should not be in this field of work as she lacks compassion and empathy two main things a therapist should have."
"Trying to settle my bill, representatives were impolite and unpleasant, as is EVERY SINGLE PERSON I’ve dealt with at this hospital with the exception of a person from the quality staff and my primary care doctor. I avoid care in Syracuse and travel to NYC, where staff is pleasant and helpful. I’d like to pay this bill but they don’t want to work with me"
"I wouldn't wish this place on an enemy. Staff does not communicate, they lie, cannot keep accurate records and notes. Refilling scripts are a nightmare. The receptionist cannot handle her job duties and seems confused to say the least. The voice-mail recording says it all."
"Updated all their patient access and it's now less accessible. Dr's dropped from patient portal with no way to search or contact. They stopped having receptionists answer phones at many locations and are being cross trained so they don't have to have extra employees to fill those positions. I work behind the scenes a lot with the hospital not only as a patient but as a 3rd party. I have experienced this first hand with my med Dr being taken off my portal, canceled appointments that I don't get notified about but STILL GET the text reminder my appointment is coming up in a few days. In regards to my work as a 3rd party I have seen first hand the amount of stress it's put on employees to basically be a bare bones crew because they want to cross train into different departments so they don't have to hire more employees to save a dime. This change strains their staff and makes them less effective when patients need them the most. Trinity needs to get themselves together. Stop trying to line their pockets and focus on patient care and having healthy, less stressed care teams to focus on patient care."
"Recently I took a family member to St. Joe's for treatment for her mental health. She was admitted to the CPEP and they absolutely failed her as a patient. I made several phone calls to check in, try to schedule a family meeting, etc. Every single call was met with "her nurse isn't available, leave a message and they will call you back". Not one time did I get a return call. She never had anyone work with her and said all she did was sleep on the meds they gave her. There is zero communication. I called the patient line and requested her, only to have another patient answer the phone. They don't even know which patients are which. Never got her med list right. I went to visit after I already confirmed the hours and that they were allowing visitors, only to be told by the older security guard at check in that visitors were not allowed. I requested he call and was met with attitude, but he did it and they said I was allowed up. The area itself is not very clean. The staff is rude and condescending. They chose to send her home, despite all the horrible things that have been happening with her. We were barely out the doors before my family member says to me "I knew I could tell the doctor what he wanted to hear so that he would let me leave. He wanted to send me upstairs to inpatient, but I didnt want to" . I have never been more disappointed and disgusted by a health care facility. A formal grievance is also being filed. If you care about your loved ones, do NOT bring them here."
