"He was over an hour late for our appointment. My daughter was there for migraines. He proceeds to ask her if she plays any sports? My daughter stated she is a varsity cheerleader and she is on a national competitive team as well. He turns to her and says "no, I mean a real sport like soccer or baseball". Then he looks at the paperwork with her height and weight and said " I think getting her into a real sport will help her lose weight, because she is overweight". My daughter has PCOS since the age of 10 when her first cyst rupture at that time. She is abou 5 '9" and weighs 160ish pounds and wears a size 4 pants she can also fit a childs 14-16 XL. She is the backpot on the team and can hold the girls in the aid pretty much on her own. She practices with the high school or has games or competitions for 2 hours or more 5 days a week. Her competitive team practices 2 days a week for 3 hours a day if there is a competition that week she can have another 1 to 2 days of practices. The competitions turn into an all day affair. We never went back to him and her gynecologist put her on nexplanon and she hasn't had a migraine since. Don't take your teenage daughters to him because they will leave with lower self esteem and possibly an eating disorder."
