"My initial consultation with this physician was canceled three times, due to “provider being out of the office.” Each time, my appointment got pushed back one month. So it took 6 months to be seen from the time I was initially referred. On the day of my 1st appointment, I did not get roomed until 40 minutes after my appointment time, and didn’t see him until 60 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. He then took me to his office where he reviewed my history. For an exam, he examined me while I was sitting upright in an office chair, fully clothed. I was then scheduled for a colonoscopy 3 months out, and one month later, notified it was canceled due to “provider being out of the office.”"
"Showed up for my 0945 appointment at 0940 and sat in the waiting room til 10a. Was moved to an exam room at 10a and spoke to the nurse. After waiting til 1035a in the exam room with no doctor showing up I left. On the way out I was told “yeah he runs late a lot”. Sorry Doc my time is valuable also."
"Dr. Nizam seems very concerned when you see him in person and is a good Dr, but when you need to communicate with him via his office it's damn near impossible. His staff is rude and IF he gets the message it takes way too long for him to get back to you. Rx requests get ignored and you have to keep calling back to get one called in. My wife was being treated for H PYLORI and needed special medication because of allergic reaction to the normal treatment. They called in the same medication that she told him made her very sick the last time she took it! Weeks later still waiting for a response about a different treatment plan. It took over a week to get a simple Rx called in for stomach cramping. This Dr is way too busy to treat anyone who needs immediate or at least fast response from a Dr. Dr Nizam is also treating her for hepatitis C and its taking months for him to come up with a treatment. If you want a Dr who will treat you in a timely manner look for someone else."
"took a loved one to their appt. waited almost an hour in the waiting room. then while in the exam room, got blood pressure temp and weight done. Dr Nizam came in said follow me and left me to chase after him with my elderly loved one to his office. Spoke about 3 minutes listened to their breathing said everything looked good and said...follow me...again had to chase him...when we finally found our way by asking staff where to go...we were standing at the schedulers desk...our appt was done. I have NEVER had an experience at a drs appt like this. he absolutely made it perfectly clear that he had no time for us and was far to busy....absolutely unbelievable...DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. perfect example of what our medical care is coming to....."
"OUTSTANDING CARE. Good decisions by this good MD specialist improved my life in dealing with acid reflux and Barrett's Esophagus. I had the recommended surgery and was home the following day. No complications. Minimally invasive surgical technique. I am a dance instructor and as a joke I was dancing a pretty vigorous Salsa in the hallways about eight hours after the surgery. I am so lucky I found this practice. I am not medical but I am sure that alternative treatments available elsewhere would not have made me as happy."
