"Had to go to another doctor (a young woman doctor) to get a proper diagnosis. I came in for an appointment because my hair fell out over night. Bruce couldn’t be bothered, stated “I wouldn’t be making such a big fuss out of it if I were a boy.” I guess the big fuss was making an appointment with my doctor? Then proceeded to tell me I probably pulled it out myself, which I have no history or habit of doing. My new doctor recognized it right away as alopecia and treated me without a single insult. Silverstein is a questionable doctor and person, go elsewhere or feel free to waste your money here if you have too much of it."
"If I could give zero starts, I would. They want you to have blood drawn at their office, even if you have the same bloodwork done with another physician - same tests, double cost. Office notes state different issues discussed but actually were not. BIGGEST ISSUE: I was hospitalized for 13 days and had sepsis/surgery. Was very sick and could hardly move when I went to see Jaclyn 4 days after discharge. She didn't even ask me how I was! I was clearly in pain with tears in my eyes, and I needed help understanding disability forms that I was told she needed to fill out. No empathy or even an attempt to show any emotion toward me, and told me they would fill out the forms and I could pick them up when they were done. She didn't even tell me the visit was over. I had to ask if we were done. THEN her very unhelpful receptionist insisted that I had to go through the portal for the forms. At that time I didn't have access to a computer and tried explaining this several times and ended up telling her off. Result: she did not fill out any of the paperwork and dropped me as a patient because I was rude.- my surgeon's office did the paperwork for me and helped me understand it in 10 minutes! To top it all off, I sent 2 different requests for my records to be sent to a new PCP, and they never did it. NOT HIPAA COMPLIANT."
"I am a new patient here. I called twice, both for legitimate reasons. Both times the office worker was unnecessarily rude and hostile. When I was in office, I overheard a office worker being rude to someone else on the phone. I am getting really unprofessional and unethical vibes from this place. I am finding a new PCP ASAP."
"Receptionists and office manager is very rude. Office manager is the doctors wife and could careless about patient care. Carolyn the nurse is the only one in the office that cares and is a excellent nurse. I Called to make appointment to be told I was Discharged for a bill I did not receive. I was sent to collections again no letter or bill Their billing department is the worst. Stay away."
"Back in 2018, I had a lapse in coverage and was not able to set up my initial appointment with them. I tried coming back now in 2024 and the doctors office refuses to see me because of my one no call no show I did 6 years ago. They also took 3 weeks and I WAS THE ONE who had to reach out to them and ask what was going on. They stated they called and left a voicemail but I never received a call. I personally would not come here and look elsewhere because they clearly do not care about their patients. This doctors office seems to be cliquey and you need to know someone to get in to see them. It’s a shame"
