"Landmark northern Richmond Ave roundabout cog of the Circles that run up ( south) Richmond annother at Ferry St and standout Companion at Symphony Circle (NorthSt,Porter Ave and Wadsworth St All connect here) ..Colonial Circle boasts not only picturesque neighborhood with it's stately homes ..it had in it's center a magnificent statue of General Daniel Boswell mounted on his horse..Gen Boswell commanded a NY regiment in th e Civil War...from there heading East is indeed Bidwell Parkway..linking the Westside to the Beautiful Parkway System..Delaware Park..Elmwood Village..Museums and North Buffalo..this area of Buffalo illustrates fully Fredrick Law Olmsted and Joseph Ellicott's vision for Buffalo's mid 19th century development..this one of our favorite walking area's in all seasons...stop a and take a deeper look next time you're passing"
