"Service is very slow , employees will talk on the phone with friends and or families while there is a lot of people waiting for service. The woman in Module 10 which is outside talked on the phone for several minutes having one customer on the desk and several people waiting. In any job we should be able to respond some calls but you must prioritize work and be respectful with the clients."
"One star because I can't give a zero. It is a zoo in there, not because of the people going there, but because of the people working there. They are a snobby bunch pretending to care. I waited 4.5 hours and I understand, I knew that going in. They don't get it. Here's my experience. The man with the glasses has an important job. He directs people to where they have to go. BUT since we all have to wait a long time anyway, he can make sure you have all your papers in order so that everything can go smoothly (I did not have what I needed. Apparently to RENEW your passport you need your ID even if you have your old passport). He is the first line of defense. He did a poor job. Upstairs, the lady giving out ticket numbers Reassured me, that I could get my passport with just my old passport and no ID. She's the 2nd person that could make sure you have what you need. She was nice but not knowledgeable. Maybe she and the man in charge of the lines are poorly trained. 4.5 hours later I get called in. The lady at window 7. She did not greet me, she didn't introduce herself, cold as anything. I said good afternoon. She directed me to sit. She asked what I needed. I said I needed to renew my passport. She asked for ID. I didn't have it, and by the way ID does not expire, is listed in the passport, and I had a picture of it.. and I had other documents to show who I am. She said she couldn't do it without my ID. She picked up my papers, told me to follow her and took me straight to the security officer. It was so ironic because when I had been waiting in line the pretentious consul made a long speech (about 25 minutes) about how what we came for wasn't just a transaction but "something more important.. a life and a story" and all these things. The security officer was the nicest person there. Apparently he is also more informed on what is necessary and all the ins and outs of everything having to do with the embassy. He said I did need my ID but they couldn't do it that day because they were only doing ID ending in 5. It was almost the end of the day for them.. after 1PM, so he said I could maybe ask the lady at the desk in the larger waiting room. I tried to plead with her because they made me wait that long for nothing and my kids had waited outside with my husband who took off from work just for this, but she had no sympathy. Assuming that I had just come in, she said everyone had waited a long time and started asking people what time they had arrived to prove to me they had been waiting. Then stopped, when I told her I had been there since 8:30 and had driven nearly 2 hours to get there. She said I had to come back when it was "my" day to get the ID. I told them it would be nice if they had all the information on the website. She pulled up the website on the computer and it was, but it was not on the mobile website. You can find information on the websitr but not easily. Their website is terrible. I saw they weren't going to help, so I left. I grew up in The US, that's why I dont have the documentation they want. My parents passed, so I can't ask them. Expect nothing from these people. Maybe try to sort things out elsewhere, they won't help if your papers are not perfect."
"Must say outstanding service everyone is organized and knows the proper way to process everything. Aside from waiting a long time which it's expected. I left very satisfied that everything I needed was done in a matter of one day."
"Exceptional service was evident from the moment I entered the consulate office to apply for my visa. The staff's meticulous attention to detail, coupled with their genuine kindness and down-to-earth demeanor, made the entire process not only efficient but also remarkably pleasant. Their dedication to ensuring every aspect of my visit was seamless reflects their commitment to providing top-end service. I left feeling grateful for the outstanding experience and confident in their expertise and care."
"Are you serious with the phone service? Why is the recording so fast?? I just want to know if I can make an appointment for pass port and cédula."
