Reviews of Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in New York
"Absolutely horrible service. The rudest woman answered the phone, when asking a question she responded "I don't get what you want from me, are you even Saudi?" Then hung up. This does not reflect the service we have in Saudi at all."
"I wish there was a 0 star to rate them. First time I visited them, they said they can’t let me in and asked me to come back next week because I visited on Thursday. I checked Google and it showed they were open so I visited the office. I found out the office is closed for a week. Like c’mon at least change the time before leaving so that people don’t get confused."
"Firstly, I applied for an Umrah visa. They replied by email that I had to apply for a tourist visa, so I did. Both times, I could see my application status was "Sent to the Representative Office." However, there was no option to proceed. Then, I called them over 170 times in a week, but they did not answer even once."
"Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Called multiple times with different phones and got hung up on every single time. When my uncle was having issues with his visa, he was told to email or come in. They never answered his email and when he went in they did not allow him to go inside. Rude staff and very unprofessional. Trying to get something fixed on an e-visa, but they do not answer the phone. Is there anything else I can do?"
"I absolutely have no idea how this place works. Went in person to get the tourist visa on a Thursday and they are randomly closed on that day for no reason. Not even mentioned on the website or anywhere. They just close whenever they feel like. We take days off to go on a weekday. Its a waste."
