"I'm reluctantly giving them a star, but honestly, they deserve none. The staff is incredibly rude, never has documents ready, only accepts cash, and yells at you as if you're the one at fault. I don’t tolerate this kind of behavior. I had to raise my voice because they were acting like they were in the right when they clearly weren’t. The office itself is in terrible condition—it smells bad, is dark, and feels unclean. It's shameful that such behavior is tolerated. I will be calling to report this. This is unacceptable, and the staff either needs to be retrained or replaced. I can't believe this is happening in a government office! We need to report to get better people in that office."
"My experience here was MUCH better than the one in Manhattan! The front desk people were kind, patient and helpful along with the rest of the people me and my mom met in the office, they really did work some magic finding the information of my mom and grandpa. I'm grateful to this place for giving me hope that I can obtain my Dominican passport!"
"Great experience. Got there like around 11 by 1 i was done. People where helpful and attentive. El servivicio fue fenomenal."
"The Bronx office is the worst!! How is it possible they gave me the cedula with a expiration date after the date I received it for the first time. They NEVER pick up the phone. VERY disorganize. It's a shame!!"
"Go to 42nd St because its 2024 and they only take cash here but no one has thought to put a sign up. There aren't printed instructions on how to become a citizen in the Dominican Republic and everything is broken. The atm, parts of the ceilings, the fan, central air etcetera. Its like their own versión of the rejects. The back and forth is disgraceful."
