"Terrible experience! Took an heirloom watch in for a simple battery replacement & was horrified to discover I didn't get that watch back. I took in an Omega watch that belonged to my grandfather, then my father then was supposed to go to my son for his wedding next week. I received back someone else's Seiko watch. When I went back in to discuss the issue, I was met with aggression & blame. I was told that it was impossible to get the watches switched up & that I must be wrong or crazy. I was shown zero grace even tho I stood there in tears barely able to compose myself. Pretty sure I distinctly remember what the only thing I kept from my deceased father looked like. I've looked at it for 16 years since he passed. I then found out later on from an employee there (small town) that it has happened before & that there are a few "untrustworthy" people who work there. Also that the aggressive woman I encountered is the owner which was shocking that she would treat a customer that way. I'm not saying that it was done intentionally. It's clearly 2 things: accidental or intentionaI. If they are telling me that it's "impossible" to happen accidentally then the only conclusion is that it was intentional. I have no idea how it happened but I know that I can't replace that watch & I am devastated. They were unwilling to do anything about it & did not care to even try. Cue the response from the owner blaming me now......"
