"When you call to find out what they teach, the instructor doesn't hesitate to say "kuntao is a rare martial art." Aka, nobody uses it because it probably doesn't work in a real fight. They advertise kickboxing but are teaching ti chi which has nothing to do with kick boxing. I would know because I've taken kickboxing through clarion mma, whose students actually fight in real cage matches. The so called kickboxing they teach here wouldn’t be useful in an actual self defense situation. Their videos on Facebook show how uncoordinated their students kicks and punches are. Their students are taught to lean into their punches with no hip force. The kicks they teach are so awkward, I find it unbelievable they think it's actually usable. My best advice is to watch videos of professional UFC fighters and compare their punches and kicks to the videos on this companies facebook. You can see instantly that they don't know what their doing. Bottom line, if you want your kids to actually learn how to defend themselves, do not send them to this school. I recommend sending them to an actual Mixed Martial Arts school where they are given the chance to pressure test their skills. The most unfortunate thing about this school is that those attending might actually believe they are learning something useful. But I guarantee none of them would be able to defend themselves in a life threatening situation. Just watch the Facebook videos and you will see."
"I attend the Cardio Kickboxing on Mon and Wed. Ali and George are such wonderful instructors. Fantastic workout. Wonderful tribe that is very supportive."
