"If I could give zero stars, I would. Benco was assigned by Lowe's to install a pocket replacement window and storm door at our home today. Last week, Benco's office called us to schedule the install and indicated that we were the first job of the day, so the installers will be at our home between 8am-9am. When they weren't here after 9, we called Benco to see if there was an issue picking up our materials. No one picked up and we left a message. Hours go by and not a call back from the office nor the installer himself. We call our project manager at Lowe's, who of course has to get in touch with Benco, but they too cannot reach them. Benco (the office lady) finally calls back around 12pm saying that the installer would be here before 2pm. Of course, 2pm comes and no installers. We called Benco literally all day long and they never picked up the phone. The installer himself never called with an update. The installers (two of them) finally decide to show up at 3:20pm and starts off the conversation that he "won't work past 4" and he's "not staying until 6 to get the job done". He tells us he will come back tomorrow. The balls on that guy! Naturally, I flipped out and told them to unload their truck with everything that I have paid in full for from Lowes. He calls his boss at Benco, Patrick, who doesn't hesitate to approve me taking possession of the materials. Total evidence that Benco has terrible communication, terrible customer service, completely unprofessional, and have zero regard for honoring the jobs they are contracted to do by Lowes. They show up almost 7 and a half hours late without any phone calls, and telling me they "won't" do the work???? They loaded my garage with my materials and took off. Lowe's was very accommodating in immediately setting us up with another installer. If you are doing any work and having Lowe's install it, I strongly suggest refusing to have Benco complete the work."
